After a couple of months of little activity in my studio, I am back at work with determination to create every day. This photo is of a piece I did for the Fast Friday Fabric Challenge. It was created by working with a piece of batik fabric to create amoeba like objects from thread and paint.

I like this a lot. It's very cool the way you isolated areas in the batik and gave them importance with the stitching.

How fun! I've got to get working on mine now (yep, a bit late); I really like the idea in my head and would like to bring it to fruition.
